COVID-19 Update from Family Promise of Summit County

WE WILL CONTINUE TO UPDATE THIS PAGE AS INFORMATION BECOMES AVAILABLE.

Children experiencing homelessness and their families need your help now. Click Here to Donate

Thank you to everyone who has reached out to provide assistance for the families we are serving, as well as the organization. We are incredibly grateful for your continued support!

We are still serving homeless families with children!

Since our host and support congregations have suspended services and outside activities for the time being, we are very fortunate to be able to house the families in our program in the Glendora House shelter. Thank you to our volunteers who continue to aid these families while at the Glendora House!

Two of the nine units in the Glendora House are renovated and are currently serving families! Luckily, each unit has a fully equipped kitchen and there are complimentary laundry facilities onsite. We continue to raise funds to complete the remaining renovations. Once the remaining units are complete, we will take additional homeless families with children into the program. We are actively working on the renovations at this time.

Click here to donate to the Glendora House Capital Campaign.

If you would like to donate non-perishable food or prepared meals to the families currently in the program, please call the office at 330.253.8081 and leave a message for us.

Hours of Operation:

From now until the "Shelter-in-Place" mandate is lifted; the Voris Street Day Center is closed to visitors. Staff are available via phone or email. Appointments made be made as necessary by contacting a staff member.

Please contact us with any questions at 330.253.8081
