Finding Strength to Support Her Family - Sarah's Story

Sarah and her four children became homeless after Sarah left her abusive partner after a 10-year relationship. Sarah's previous partner supported the family financially so Sarah had to quickly find a way to support her family.

Sarah secured employment and was earning a livable wage. In fact, Sarah quickly became a leading producer for her company and received accolades for her performance.

Sarah's confidence began to improve as she learned that she could move-on independently away from her abuser. Sarah worked diligently to maintain her employment and find affordable housing for her family.

Sarah enrolled in the Financial Empowerment Center to improve her budgeting skills and increase her odds of sustaining housing. Sarah's effort was notably effective as she secured a four bedroom home after only 31 days in shelter.
